Job summary

Intec Select is recruiting an Automation Test Engineer to advance automated testing across a life sciences SaaS product. The role emphasizes hands-on Playwright work and AI-assisted tooling in a modern tech stack.

You will collaborate with developers, Product Owners and cross-functional teams to shape testing strategies, implement robust automation, and drive quality across cloud-based applications in a fully remote setup.

Qualifications

ProvenAutomation Test Engineer with hands-on experience using modern automation frameworks such as Playwright.
Experience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks and suites.
Experience with API testing and CI/CD integration for automated testing.
Experience testing cloud-based or SaaS applications including QA in agile environments.
Familiarity with AI-assisted development/testing tools such as Claude or GitHub Copilot.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites across web and cloud-based apps.
Develop automated UI and API tests using Playwright.
Collaborate with developers, Product Owners and tech teams to define testing strategies.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing.
Identify opportunities to increase automation coverage and reduce manual testing reliance.
Utilize AI-assisted tools to support test development and scripting.
Analyse test results and work with teams to resolve defects.
Contribute to automation standards, frameworks and best practices.
