Job summary

Love Games? is seeking an Audio Programmer / Audio Engineer to join their growing AAA gaming development team. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing cutting-edge audio systems to enhance immersion across platforms, while collaborating with audio designers and programmers.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in CS or related field, strong C++, DSP, and experience with Wwise/FMOD and Unreal Engine. UK-based remote work is welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/Audio engineering.
• Proficient in C++ with DSP knowledge.
• Experience with audio middleware (Wwise/FMOD).
• Familiarity with Unreal Engine audio workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced audio systems to deliver dynamic soundscapes.
• Use UE4/UE5 tools to enable designers to manipulate audio.
• Integrate and customize audio middleware for assets and behaviours.
• Implement real-time audio features reacting to game events and actions.
• Develop real-time audio processing for effects, spatialization, and reverb.
• Profile and optimize audio systems for performance across platforms.
• Collaborate with designers, programmers, and team members to align audio with gameplay.
