Job summary

Talk Recruitment are partnering with a Midlands-based AAA game developer to recruit a Senior Programmer. You will develop and deliver high-quality game code for AAA Unreal 4 projects, working within a close-knit team and contributing to exciting, iconic titles.

Qualifications

• Strong C++ skills with game development experience.
• Experience with Unreal Engine projects is preferred.
• Good debugging, profiling, and optimization abilities.
• Eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver high-quality game code for AAA Unreal 4 projects.
• Collaborate with programming and design teams to deliver immersive experiences.
• Create and maintain game logic for gameplay mechanics and automated tests.
• Profile and optimise code for memory and performance per platform.
• Mentor other engineers and participate in code reviews.
• Work to deadlines and communicate with production teams.
