SCS JV is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the HS2 London Tunnels contract. You will work on Main Contract administration, cost capture, and commercial reporting within a collaborative team that champions our JV culture and values.

The role requires good communication and customer-facing skills, with opportunities for professional development and progression within the project team. This is a permanent position based in London, with a focus on value engineering and cost control.

Formación

• RICS/CICES accredited Degree (or equivalent) is preferred.
• Ability to adapt to new and evolving tasks.
• Capable of managing own workload.
• Basic legal, contractual and construction knowledge/experience.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with Main Contract management and administration.
• Support in supply chain management & administration.
• Assist and undertake cost capture and cost control.
• Assist in Commercial reporting, producing own reports where required.
• Assist with Change Control with subcontractors and Customer.
• Carry out measurement in line with industry standards.
• Support in project metrics reporting.
• Prepare enquiries and analyse tenders, including negotiation and management of sub-contractor accounts.
• Ensure internal/external valuations and reports are prepared and issued on time.
• Maintain commercial records in line with contract requirements and address contractual issues.
• Capture, manage and communicate change on the project and allocation of costs.
• Pursue self-development and professional qualification.
