Job summary

Smart 4 EPC in London seeks an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a major joint venture delivering HS2 works. You will lead NEC3/4 contract administration, value contractor payments, manage subcontractor accounts, and draft critical contract communications, including Early Warnings and Compensation Events.

Qualifications

• Degree educated.
• Experience in main contractor, consultancy and/or joint venture.
• Strong NEC3/4 contract administration (A/C/E essential); CEMAR desirable.
• Skilled in assessing high-value Compensation Events.
• Proven experience in change, risk and financial management.
• Confident negotiating and procuring subcontract packages.
• Right to work in the UK.

Senior Quantity Surveyor – London, Hybrid – Up to £80,000

We are delighted to be assisting our client, a leading global consultancy specialising in construction engineering and operations, in their search for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a major joint venture delivering works on part of HS2.

About the Role

You’ll bring strong pre and post-contract management and procurement experience within the UK rail sector, supporting the design team through the early stages of a major infrastructure project. Candidates with a Rail, Infrastructure, Highways, Construction, Utilities or Energy background are encouraged to apply; MEP experience is beneficial but not essential.
