PremFina Ltd. in the UK is seeking an Assistant Accountant to support the finance function, ensuring accurate processing of transactions, maintaining reconciliations and assisting with month-end reporting and controls.

Reporting to the Financial Controls & Operations Manager, you will handle cash allocation, bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable activities, broker payments and reporting support.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance, accounting or transactional finance.
• Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping.
• Experience with bank reconciliations, AP and AR.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsabilités

• Reconcile daily collections and allocate receipts.
• Produce daily reports for lenders and partners.
• Prepare weekly bank reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Process supplier invoices and ensure proper authorisation.
• Support broker and supplier payments and cash balances.
• Maintain robust financial controls and audit trails.
• Month-end journals and reporting support.
• Assist with audit requests and year-end reporting.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships across Finance and Operations.
