Job summary

Xplor Technologies powers experiences across fitness, recreation, education and service industries. The Assistant Accountant role sits in the Finance Division, supporting day-to-day operations, month-end close and accurate financial reporting.

You will work with NetSuite and Excel, contributing to a subscription-based revenue model and cross-region reconciliation. This remote UK role offers exposure to tax work, fixed asset accounting and internal reporting, with opportunities to progress

Qualifications

• Actively working towards a professional qualification (e.g. AAT, ACCA, CIMA) or recently qualified
• Strong understanding of core accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience with cloud-based finance systems (NetSuite, Xero or similar)
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
• High attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills
• Experience supporting month-end close processes and reconciliations
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to identify trends in financial data
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced SaaS environment

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day finance operations and month-end close
• Ensure financial data accuracy and alignment with revenue model
• Assist with reconciliations and reporting across APAC region
• Assist with VAT/GST and tax returns reconciliation
• Process ad hoc journal entries and one-off finance projects
• Support audit queries and corporate card expense management
