Job summary

Bentley Systems is seeking an Application Engineer (Pre-Sales) to provide technical leadership for AssetWise-based solutions in infrastructure projects. You will guide discovery, translate asset-management needs into architectures, and deliver compelling demos and datasets to win opportunities.

Reporting to Solution Engineering Management, you’ll collaborate with sales, product teams, and account teams, travel internationally as needed, and contribute to increasing ARR and product adoption

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in asset intensive infrastructure operations and maintenance.
• Experience with asset information management across the full lifecycle, asset performance, reliability or analytics.
• Knowledge of AssetWise preferred; ISO 19650 and ISO 55001 knowledge beneficial.
• Excellent communication, presentation and demonstration skills.
• Willingness to travel mainly within Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Responsibilities

• Promote Bentley solutions to infrastructure audiences.
• Create and lead delivery of presentations and demos showcasing Bentley applications.
• Prepare datasets for user presentations and demos.
• Lead and/or support discovery sessions and define solution requirements.
• Support sales and marketing events.
• Contribute to solution definitions and proposal responses.
• Provide feedback to Product Teams and collaborate on updates.
• Research industry trends and competitive landscape.
• Demonstrate value of technical solutions to designers, engineers, architects, contractors and owners.
• Connect with stakeholders and share intelligence with the account team.
• Communicate with account stakeholders and internal colleagues; attend account team meetings.
• Support sales opportunities and account planning; document activities in Salesforce.
• Ensure smooth transition to Services engagements and foster a One Bentley culture.
