Job summary

Bentley Systems is seeking an Application Engineer to provide pre-sales technical leadership for AssetWise solutions from a home-based UK location. You will translate customer needs into solution architectures, prepare representative datasets, and deliver compelling demonstrations to key accounts.

The role requires travel mainly within Europe, the Middle East and Africa. You will partner with sales, account management, and product teams to position Bentley offerings, drive customer value, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in asset intensive infrastructure operations and maintenance environments such as Transportation, Energy, Mining, etc.
• Knowledge of AssetWise or similar products; ISO 19650/ISO 55001 familiarity.
• Strong communication, presentation, and demonstration skills.
• Willingness to travel mainly within Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Responsibilities

• Promote Bentley solutions to infrastructure audiences.
• Create and lead delivery of presentations and demos showcasing Bentley applications.
• Prepare datasets for user presentations and demos.
• Lead and/or support Discovery sessions and define solution requirements.
• Support sales and marketing events.
• Contribute to solution definition and proposal responses.
• Provide feedback to Product Teams and collaborate on updates.
• Stay informed about industry trends and competitors.
