Job summary

Bentley Systems is seeking an Application Engineer to provide pre-sales technical leadership for AssetWise solutions. You will support key accounts and prospects to improve asset information management, asset performance, and operational decision-making across the infrastructure lifecycle.

You will lead technical discovery, translate requirements into solution architectures, prepare datasets, and deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in asset-intensive infrastructure operations and maintenance.
• Experience with asset information management across full lifecycle.
• Knowledge of AssetWise or similar products preferred.
• Working knowledge of ISO 19650 and ISO 55001.
• Strong communication, presentation, and demonstration skills.
• Ability to explain complex topics to diverse audiences.
• Willingness to travel within Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Responsibilities

• Promote Bentley solutions to infrastructure audiences.
• Create and lead delivery of presentations and demos showcasing Bentley applications.
• Prepare datasets for user presentations and demos.
• Lead and/or support Discovery sessions, define solution requirements.
• Support sales and marketing events.
• Contribute to solution definition and proposal responses.
• Provide feedback to Product Teams and collaborate on updates.
• Research industry standards and recommend product configurations.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitors and Bentley solutions changes.
• Demonstrate value of our technical solutions to designers, engineers, contractors and owners.
• Connect with stakeholders and share account-specific insights with the account team.
• Communicate with account stakeholders and attend account team meetings.
• Support sales opportunities and account planning, and document key activities in Salesforce.
• Ensure smooth transition to Services engagements through knowledge sharing.
• Foster a culture of One Bentley and collaboration with internal stakeholders.
