SandboxAQ is seeking a hands-on Manager, AI Engineering to lead a small, highly technical team and advance the future of agentic collaboration and AI-powered software. You will remain hands‑on in engineering and research while shaping technical direction and code quality.

The role emphasizes rapid, safe delivery of production features, mentoring engineers, collaborating with Product and Research, and building scalable, secure AI solutions that deliver measurable ROI.

Qualifications

• BSc in Computer Science with exposure to AI/ML.
• Strong Python coding skills and production ML experience.
• Experience shipping production ML/AI software and working with agents.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small, highly technical team and stay hands-on in engineering and research.
• Set technical direction, break down ambiguous problems, plan fast, high-quality execution.
• Build agentic capabilities, monitor and guardrail agents, evaluate performance.
• Perform ML tasks: exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, model tuning.
• Collaborate with Product and Research to translate AI research into features.
• Contribute production‑ready code and designs across engineering teams.
