Job summary

EggAI is seeking a hands-on engineering leader to guide a small remote team building production-grade agentic AI systems for enterprise clients. You will own technical direction, write production code, and shape engineering culture while delivering measurable value.

You will drive design across agents, tools, data, and evaluations, and lead adoption from early experiments to scalable deployments, partnering with clients and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading small engineering teams.
• Experience designing, shipping, and operating production-grade AI systems.
• Ability to stay current with AI advances and apply agentic AI in daily work.
• Experience navigating stakeholder environments and aligning technical decisions with business value.
• Excellent cross-functional communication.
• Strong coding skills in Python or TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Solid engineering fundamentals and first-principles thinking.
• Strong statistical and experimental judgment with instrumentation and feedback loops.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted technical counterpart to client teams.
• Discover business opportunities and validate AI opportunities.
• Design solution architecture across agents, tools, data, evaluations, controls.
• Build critical agents, integrations, evaluation infrastructure, observability, controls, and feedback loops.
• Deliver and lead team and client from implementation through adoption.
• Package successful work as tools, datasets, evaluations, patterns, and engineering methods.
