Job summary

SandboxAQ is seeking an AI Engineer in the United Kingdom to advance agentic collaboration, trust, and ROI. You will work at the intersection of AI and software engineering, shipping features that enable agents to operate with humans and teams, and improve security and reliability.

You will prototype, test, and deploy production code, collaborate with ML, security, and product teams, and stay ahead of industry trends in agent orchestration, red teaming, and secure deployment.

Qualifications

• MSc in CS or related field with exposure to AI/ML.
• Deep expertise in AI/ML, software engineering, or AI security.
• Strong programming skills in Python, and relevant ML/agentic frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with end-to-end ownership.
• Ability to pick up other programming languages and technologies to ship scalable software.

Responsibilities

• Create new agentic capabilities - frameworks for monitoring, guardrailing, and evaluating them, and to make them work together more effectively.
• Perform classical ML tasks - exploratory data analysis, feature engineering and fine-tuning models using the latest frameworks.
• Work closely with Product and Research to translate AI research into applicable features and software engineering projects.
• Rapidly iterate on prototypes and features based on feedback and evolving product needs.
• Contribute production ready code, working across engineering to deliver scalable software.
• Stay on the edge of the latest agentic developments and explore new opportunities.
