Agentic Systems is seeking a Senior Applied AI Engineer to lead architecture for an innovative, flat-team project. You will shape an intelligence layer on top of established databases, deciding how tasks are distributed among agents and how changes are isolated and reconciled.

You will design evaluation methods and regression tests for reliable, scale-ready workflows. The role emphasizes architectural decision-making and hands-on delivery in a hybrid-remote setup within a major enterprise

Qualifications

• A strong background in production software engineering, with hands-on experience building systems that use LLM agents or tool-using components.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and engineering rigour for a small, flat team building something genuinely new.
• Deliver an intelligence layer atop legacy database infrastructure and decide how work is distributed across agents.
• Design evaluation frameworks, regression checks, and drift detection to determine when an agentic workflow is ready to scale.
