Job summary

Held Health is expanding its Child and Adolescent ADHD service and seeks a Nurse Prescriber to develop individualized care plans, prescribe meds where appropriate, and provide ongoing education to young patients and families. The role is currently fully remote, with conversations about future hybrid or office options.

Work with a multidisciplinary team, maintain records, and engage in supervision and professional development to improve care and outcomes for children and families affected by ADHD.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration or Pharmacist Independent Prescriber.
• Experience in child and adolescent mental health, ADHD management.
• Strong assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
• Minimum of 3 years post qualification NHS experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized care plans, including prescribing medication as appropriate.
• Monitor and evaluate treatment effectiveness, including physical health monitoring.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding ADHD and its management.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to ensure holistic care.
• Maintain accurate patient records in line with legal and organizational standards.
• Participate in clinical supervision and ongoing professional development.
• Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.

We are looking to recruit a Nurse Prescriber to support our growing Child and Adolescent ADHD Service. You will play a pivotal role in supporting and managing ADHD in young patients. Your role involves developing and implementing individualized care plans, prescribing medication, and providing ongoing support and education to our patients and their families.

This role is currently fully remote, but we are open to it being hybrid and/or office based in the future. Please discuss this with us so we know what you are looking for.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary £37,388.00 - £52,809.00 per annum pro-rata at equivalent £23 - £35per hour DOE
