Job summary

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) is seeking a Planner & Project Controller to support scheduling, tracking and reporting across engineering programmes. You will work with senior planners and project managers to maintain schedules, analyse metrics and assist with cost and risk management in a structured environment.

Qualifications

• Some experience in project planning, scheduling, or coordination.
• Familiarity with project management or planning software (Open Plan or Primavera P6 a bonus).
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
• Willingness to learn about cost control, scheduling, risk management, and Earned Value principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update project schedules, tracking progress and delays.
• Monitor project costs and performance data to keep projects on budget.
• Prepare and analyze project reports, dashboards, and updates for stakeholders.
• Create and track project risks and changes, analyze impacts on schedules and budgets.
• Maintain accurate project records, baselines and logs, and ensure data is organized.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers and finance to align information.
