Job summary

Lockheed Martin RMS is seeking a Planner & Project Controller to support scheduling, tracking, and reporting across engineering programmes. You will work with experienced planners and project managers to keep schedules up to date, monitor progress, and contribute to cost and risk management in a structured environment.

You will grow skills in Earned Value, IMS, and planning tools while collaborating with engineers, finance, and project teams to ensure consistency across the programme.

Qualifications

• Proactive, organized and eager to learn about project controls.
• Experience in project planning, scheduling, or coordination.
• Familiar with scheduling software like Open Plan or Primavera P6.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willing to learn cost control, scheduling, risk management, EV principles.
• Relevant qualification or working towards one (degree, apprenticeship, or certificate).

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and updating project schedules.
• Track progress and identify delays or issues.
• Support monitoring of costs and performance data.
• Prepare project reports and dashboards for teams.
• Create and track project risks and changes.
• Maintain accurate project records and baselines.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and finance teams.
• Grow expertise in planning tools and EVM, IMS, and risk analysis.
