Job summary

Amour Recruitment is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Technical Service Desk Operator to join a well-established IT services company based in Waterlooville. You will be the first point of contact for IT support requests and log, update, and manage tickets.

You should have experience in 1st line service desk roles, a solid understanding of Microsoft 365 administration, and can explain technical issues clearly to users while working across a home-based schedule within a 15-20 mile radius

Qualifications

• Experience in a 1st Line Service Desk / Helpdesk role.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience using a ticketing or service management system.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain issues clearly to users.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the first point of contact for IT support requests.
• Logging, updating, and managing tickets within the helpdesk system.
• Troubleshooting and resolving first-line technical issues.
• Providing clear updates to customers throughout the lifecycle of a ticket.
• Assisting with joiner, mover and leaver processes.
