Job summary

Mitie is recruiting a Legionella Remedial Plumber to operate across client sites in the Midlands, based in Birmingham. You will monitor, carry out remedial cleaning, sampling and chemical testing in line with Legionella control programmes.

Role involves working across diverse sites, maintaining water safety logbooks, and completing documentation. You will follow ACOP L8 and Water Technical Manual to ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Commercial Plumber within the FM sector.
• Experience in Compliance Servicing, Legionella Monitoring or Water Treatment (desirable).
• Basic IT skills, preferably including Microsoft Office packages.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage workloads to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing tasks in line with the Approved Code of Practice L8.
• Perform monitoring, one-off remedial cleaning, water sampling and chemical testing across multiple sector properties.
• Maintain customer water safety logbooks in accordance with ACOP L8 and company guidelines.
• Complete and submit all documentation in a timely manner, including following up on customer queries.
• Undertake water system cleaning and disinfection in accordance with the Water Technical Manual.
