Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Legionella Remedial Plumber to operate across a wide range of client sites in South London. The role involves monitoring, remedial cleaning, chemical testing and minor plumbing tasks within Legionella control programmes.

You will perform monitoring, cleaning, water sampling and testing, while maintaining water safety logbooks and submitting documentation in a timely manner. The position supports ongoing development in a specialist compliance and water treatment environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Commercial Plumber within the FM sector.
• Experience in Compliance Servicing, Legionella Monitoring or Water Treatment (desirable).
• Basic IT skills, preferably including Microsoft Office packages.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage workloads to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing tasks in line with the Approved Code of Practice L8.
• Perform monitoring, one-off remedial cleaning, water sampling and chemical testing across multiple sector properties.
• Maintain customer water safety logbooks in accordance with ACOP L8 and company guidelines.
• Complete and submit documentation in a timely manner, including following up on customer queries.
• Undertake water system cleaning and disinfection in accordance with the Water Technical Manual.
