Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Legionella Remedial Plumber to operate across South London sites, carrying out monitoring, remedial cleaning, chemical testing and minor plumbing tasks in Legionella control programmes.

You will work within the FM sector, ensuring compliance with L8 ACOP, maintaining water safety logs, and completing documentation to support a growing mobile division with strong safety standards. An enhanced DBS check and references are part of the process.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Commercial Plumber within the FM sector.
• Desirable experience in Legionella Monitoring or Water Treatment.
• Basic IT skills, preferably MS Office.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing tasks in line with Approved Code of Practice L8.
• Monitor, one-off remedial cleaning, water sampling and chemical testing across multiple properties.
• Maintain water safety logs per ACOP L8 and company guidelines.
• Complete and submit all documentation, and follow up on customer queries.
• Undertake water system cleaning and disinfection per Water Technical Manual.

We're looking for a Legionella Remedial Plumber who will operate across a wide range of client sites in South London, carrying out monitoring, remedial cleaning, chemical testing and minor plumbing tasks in line with Legionella control programmes.

Role Responsibilities:

• Carry out plumbing tasks in line with the Approved Code of Practice L8.
• Perform monitoring, one-off remedial cleaning, water sampling and chemical testing across multiple sector properties.
• Maintain customer water safety logbooks in accordance with ACOP L8 and company guidelines.
• Complete and submit all documentation in a timely manner, including following up on customer queries.
• Undertake water system cleaning and disinfection in accordance with the Water Technical Manual.

Required Qualifications: applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.

• Experience as a Commercial Plumber within the FM sector.
• Experience in Compliance Servicing, Legionella Monitoring or Water Treatment (desirable).
• Basic IT skills, preferably including Microsoft Office packages.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage workloads to meet deadlines.
