Job summary

Future Select Recruitment in Cannock, West Midlands, is seeking a qualified Legionella Remedial Plumber to join their Midlands team. You will work across commercial, public sector and local authority premises to conduct preventative plumbing duties and fault-find on existing systems.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience as a Plumber/Remedial Engineer.
• Must hold the NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing as a minimum.
• G3 Unvented ticket advantageous.
• Experience within a Water Hygiene/Legionella outfit essential.
• Good working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines.
• Strong literacy, numeracy and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-planned remedial plumbing duties across client sites.
• TMV servicing, maintenance and replacements.
• Deadleg removals.
• Pipework modifications and replacements.
• Replacing outlets and flexi hoses.
• Servicing and swapping unvented cylinders.
• Installing point of use heaters.
• Fault-finding on site and recommending works.
• Support water hygiene team with cleans, disinfections, chlorinations, sampling and temperature monitoring.
• Keep accurate notes and compile reports.

Due to recent company growth, our client is recruiting for a qualified and knowledgeable Legionella Remedial Plumber to join their Midlands team. You will be working across a range of commercial, public sector and local authority premises to conduct preventative plumbing duties and fault-find on existing systems. Our client is a multi-disciplined compliance specialist, who have a busy Legionella / Water Hygiene department spanning across the UK.
