• Teach religious studies to explore a range of beliefs and practices, including Judaism, Christianity and Buddhism
• Plan engaging lessons that build critical thinking and reasoning
• Foster questioning, evaluation and reasoning as central to classroom learning
• Develop students' empathy and understanding of cultural diversity through varied religious traditions
• Guide students to reflect on their personal beliefs, actions and influence on others and the world around them

Jobbeschreibung

Permanent Religious Studies teaching post at Watling Academy, a secondary school for students aged 11 to 18 that is rated Ofsted Outstanding. The work is teaching students about religious traditions such as Judaism, Christianity and Buddhism, with a focus on questioning, evaluation and reflection on personal beliefs and actions. A temporary Head of RE allowance may be available to the right candidate, and the school has recently added a sixth form. Visa sponsorship is not available, and an enhanced DBS check is required.
