This Relief Support Worker position allows you to pick up shifts at times that suit you, making it ideal for fitting around prior commitments such as studying or other responsibilities. You will be part of an inclusive team supporting adults with learning disabilities. Your support will help individuals achieve their personal goals and ambitions, with approaches tailored to each person.
The support you provide may include helping develop new skills, offering personal and emotional support, assisting with planning and managing their own homes, and supporting leisure, employment, interests, and travel. This role can be fun, rewarding, but also challenging and demanding.
