Relief Support Worker at Mencap - Bury St Edmunds

Mencap is seeking Relief Support Workers to join our dedicated team in Bury St Edmunds.

As a Relief Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. Your role will involve supporting a diverse group of people with unique abilities and needs, assisting with daily activities, and providing emotional support.

What we're looking for:

• A genuine passion for supporting others
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities

This role requires you to be a driver.

Contract options:

• All services provide 24-hour care with rotas prepared at least 4 weeks in advance, allowing you to plan your personal and social life.
• A non-contractual sleep-in option is available, with an enhanced flat rate payment of £63.70.
