Job summary

Securitas UK in Edinburgh is seeking a Relief Security Officer to cover days, nights and weekends. You will patrol sites, respond to incidents and provide excellent service to staff and visitors.

A valid SIA licence is required. Driving licence and access to your own vehicle are preferred, and you must have the right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Active Patrols: Regularly patrol designated areas to detect and deter suspicious activity. Your vigilance will ensure a safe and secure environment for everyone
• Thorough Searches: Conduct detailed searches, following our comprehensive company policies and procedures. Your meticulous attention to detail will help keep our restricted areas safe
• Detailed Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records and complete necessary paperwork related to security incidents and observations
• Effective Communication: Collaborate with colleagues, supervisors and various external authorities to report incidents and coordinate responses to security issues
• Exceptional Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service to employees, visitors, and guests with professionalism and courtesy
