Job summary

Securitas UK is seeking a Relief Security Officer in Lincoln. This role involves protecting people and property across a variety of sites with day, night and weekend shifts.

You will support security operations, respond to incidents, and maintain a welcoming and safe environment for staff and visitors. From day one you’ll access learning and development opportunities, mentoring support, and a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA licence.
• Good transport links or driving licence.
• CCTV desirable.
• Flexibility to work days, nights and weekends.
• Security experience helpful.
• Right to work in the UK with a 5-year history.
• Good communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Prevent and deter unauthorized access to site and monitor alarms/CCTV.
• Conduct external and internal security patrols as instructed.
• Provide traffic control and parking restrictions as required.
• Carry out routine tests of security equipment.
• Manage keys and locking/unlocking duties.
• Maintain logs and issue passes per procedures.
• Deal with lost property as directed.

Pay: £13.00 - £14.61 per hour

Hours: 36 hours per week – Days, Nights, and Weekends

Job Description

You’ll play an important role in keeping people, property, and information secure. Your responsibilities will include:

• Prevent and deter unauthorized access to site. Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV as appropriate.
• Conduct external and internal security patrols as detailed in the Assignment Instructions.
• Provide traffic control and apply parking restrictions as required.
• Carry out routine tests of security equipment where appropriate.
• Manage keys and perform locking and unlocking duties as detailed in the Assignment Instructions.
• Ensure any equipment provided by the customer and Securitas is managed in accordance with procedures detailed in the Assignment Instructions.
• Maintain all logbooks and records as detailed in the Assignment Instructions.
• Issue visitor/contractor passes in accordance with the Assignment Instructions.
• Deal with lost property in accordance with the Assignment Instructions.

Qualifications

• Security Experience.
• The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable employment or address history.
• Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
