Job summary

Securitas UK is seeking a Relief Security Officer to cover client sites within a defined area. You’ll protect people, property and information through patrols, access control, CCTV monitoring and alarm responses, following site procedures and customer requirements.

This role requires excellent customer service and a proactive approach to security. A valid SIA licence is essential, with flexibility to work days, nights and weekends, and the right to work in the UK.

Pay: £14.50 per hour

Hours: 36 hours per week: Working days, nights & weekends

As a Relief Security Officer, you will provide professional security services across a variety of client sites within a defined geographical area. You will play a key role in protecting people, property and assets by carrying out site patrols, controlling access, monitoring CCTV and alarm systems, and responding effectively to security incidents, always in line with site procedures and customer requirements.

This is a varied and flexible role that requires excellent customer service skills and a proactive approach to security. Job Description

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Prevent and deter unauthorised access to site. Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV as appropriate
• Conduct external and internal security patrols as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
• Carry out routine tests of security equipment where appropriate
• Manage keys and perform locking and unlocking duties as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
• Maintain all logbooks and records as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
• Issue visitor/contractor passes in accordance with the Assignment Instructions
• To provide support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors whilst ensuring safeguarding of the premises
