Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Relief Retail Security Officer to patrol Sainsbury's stores, deliver excellent customer service and maintain a safe shopping environment.

You must hold a valid SIA licence; CCTV licence is desirable. A full 5-year history check is required. Contracted hours and paid breaks are included in a flexible, part-time role across various locations.

Qualifications

• SIA CCTV licence is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver industry leading customer service.
• Deter violence and public order offences.
• Conduct patrols of the store.
• Utilise CCTV systems to support reducing crime and stock loss.
• Liaise with store management teams.
• Coordinate with Police and crime partnerships when required.
• Wear Body Worn CCTV to support safety.

Job Overview:

Mitie is looking for a Retail security officer who can deliver exceptional customer service whilst creating a safe shopping environment, free from the fear of crime for customers and colleagues.

It is required that you hold a current SIA licence or SIA Certificates. It is also desired that you hold an SIA CCTV license, although this is not a necessity.

Vetting

It is vital that you have a full 5-year checkable employment/education history, failure to do so could mean your offer will be withdrawn or your employment stopped.

Main duties:

• To deliver industry leading customer service
• To deter violence and public order offences
• To conduct patrols of the store
• Utilising CCTV systems to support the reduction of crime and stock loss
• Liaise with the store management teams
• Liaise with the Police and crime partnerships where required to foster a great working relationship to support the reduction of crime in store
• To wear Body Worn CCTV to support in the reduction of crime and increase colleague and customer safety
