Mitie Group plc. is seeking a confident Retail Security Officer to protect customers and colleagues on the shop floor, deter theft and maintain a safe, positive shopping environment.

Relief shifts cover Rugby, Northampton and Kettering with flexible hours discussed at interview. A paid lunch break, uniform provided and SIA licence support are part of the package, along with ongoing training and pension schemes.

Qualifications

• SIA licence required or willingness to complete training
• 5-year checkable employment/education history essential for vetting

Responsibilities

• Providing a visible, reassuring presence on the shop floor
• Delivering outstanding customer service at all times
• Deterring theft, anti-social behaviour and public order offences
• Carrying out regular store patrols
• Operating CCTV systems to reduce crime and stock loss
• Working closely with store management teams
• Supporting partnerships with Police and local crime networks
• Using Body Worn CCTV to enhance safety for everyone onsite

  A valid SIA licence (or willingness to complete the training - we may be able to support you with this)
• A full 5-year checkable employment or education history (this is essential for vetting)
• A proactive, professional and customer-focused approach

Relief position covering the following places. Rugby, Northampton, Kettering Must be able to work weekends.
