Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Retail Relief Officer to cover Sainsbury's stores in Peterborough, Spalding and Bourne. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required for regular travel between sites.

You’ll be paid for every minute on shift, including breaks, with lunch breaks paid. The role offers flexible shifts discussed at interview, a supportive team, and opportunities to progress within Mitie.

Responsibilities

• Providing a visible, reassuring presence on the shop floor
• Delivering outstanding customer service at all times
• Deterring theft, anti-social behaviour and public order offences
• Carrying out regular store patrols
• Operating CCTV systems to reduce crime and stock loss
• Working closely with store management teams
• Supporting partnerships with Police and local crime networks
• Using Body Worn CCTV to enhance safety for everyone onsite
