Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a confident Retail Security Officer to protect people, deter theft and ensure a safe shopping environment on the store floor.

You'll deliver excellent customer service, patrol the shop, operate CCTV, and work with store management and local partners to keep everyone safe while providing valued hours and predictable shifts.

Qualifications

• SIA licence (or willingness to complete training with support).
• Full 5-year checkable employment/education history for vetting.

Responsibilities

• Provide a visible, reassuring presence on the shop floor.
• Deliver outstanding customer service at all times.
• Deterrence of theft, anti-social behaviour and public order offences.
• Carry out regular store patrols.
• Operate CCTV systems to reduce crime and stock loss.
• Work closely with store management teams.
• Support partnerships with Police and local crime networks.
• Use Body Worn CCTV to enhance safety for everyone onsite.
