Job summary

Mitie is hiring a Retail Security Officer to help protect people, prevent loss and create a safe shopping experience. You’ll have flexible shifts discussed at interview and guaranteed contracted hours alongside a clear career path.

Key duties include patrolling stores, deterring theft, operating CCTV, and working with management and local police networks. A valid SIA licence and a 5-year vetting history are required, with full induction and on-going training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide a visible, reassuring presence on the shop floor.
• Deliver outstanding customer service at all times.
• Deterring theft, anti-social behaviour and public order offences.
• Carrying out regular store patrols.
• Operating CCTV systems to reduce crime and stock loss.
• Working closely with store management teams.
• Supporting partnerships with Police and local crime networks.
• Using Body Worn CCTV to enhance safety for everyone onsite.

£13.23 per hour + Paid Lunch Break
