Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a confident Retail Security Officer to keep shoppers and colleagues safe while deterring theft and delivering excellent service on the shop floor.

You will patrol stores, monitor CCTV, work with management and local partners, and benefit from guaranteed hours, paid lunch breaks and ongoing training. If you have a valid SIA licence and a clear 5-year history, this role offers progression within Mitie.

• Provide a visible, reassuring presence on the shop floor.
• Deliver outstanding customer service at all times.
• Deter theft, anti-social behaviour and public order offences.
• Carry out regular store patrols.
• Operate CCTV systems to reduce crime and stock loss.
• Work closely with store management teams.
• Support partnerships with Police and local crime networks.
• Use Body Worn CCTV to enhance safety onsite.
