Job summary

Jewish Care is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our relief/bank nursing team. You will deliver safe, person-centred care to residents, supporting physical, emotional and social wellbeing within our care home settings in Ilford.

Requirements include current NMC registration as an RGN or RMN and a Nursing degree (Bachelors or Masters). At least 1 year of nursing experience in a care or clinical setting is expected, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration as an RGN or RMN.
• A Nursing degree (Bachelors or Masters).
• At least 1 year nursing experience in a care or clinical setting.
• Experience leading or supporting care teams.
• Experience administering medication and maintaining accurate records.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A positive, flexible, and team-focused approach.
• Experience working with older people and individuals living with dementia is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate person-centred care.
• Monitor residents' health and wellbeing, responding promptly to changes in condition.
• Safely administer and manage medication in line with NMC and regulatory guidelines.
• Lead, support, and motivate care teams during shifts.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation; promote safeguarding, dignity, and high-quality care standards.
• Support and develop colleagues through guidance, supervision, and training.
• Work collaboratively with families and external healthcare professionals.
