Job summary

Skycare is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Ilford-based Nursing Home in London. This role covers day and night shifts on a 12-hour schedule, with a competitive hourly pay rate and paid breaks.

You will provide high-quality nursing care, support residents with dignity and respect, and work within a friendly team. The ideal candidate holds UK RN/RMN, active NMC PIN, and clear DBS, with experience in care home settings.

Qualifications

• Experience in a care home setting is preferred.
• Clear DBS and two satisfactory references.

Responsibilities

• Dispensing and administering medication as prescribed and maintaining records.
• Manage stock control and order prescribed meds and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH and Care Standards Act.
• Provide high-quality nursing and personal care to residents.

We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses to join our Nursing Home in London, Ilford. We are looking for individuals with experience in a similar role, who are committed to delivering exceptional, personalised care that promotes dignity, choice and respect.

This Nursing Homeis a purpose-built facility situated in the heart of Redbridge, features 80 rooms divided into six units for service users. The centre specialises in providing accommodation for those requiring nursing treatment of injuries or physical disabilities, palliative care and for those with dementia

Available Shifts

• Full-time Day Shifts - 12 hours (8am-8pm)
• Full-time Night Shifts - 12 hours (8pm-8am)

Pay Rate

• between £21- £22 per hour

About You

• RGN or RMN with experience in a care home setting, supporting older adults
• A kind, caring and patient approach, with a genuine passion for delivering high-quality care
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team, supporting, leading and mentoring junior staff
• Previous experience motivating and guiding a care team
• UK Registered Nurse Qualification (RGN)
• Active UK NMC PIN
