Job summary

Jewish Care is seeking a Registered General Nurse to deliver person-centred care in our residential and nursing homes for older adults within the Jewish community. You will provide safe, compassionate nursing care, working with families and healthcare professionals to uphold high standards and best practices.

The role requires a current NMC registration as an RGN or RMN, a nursing degree, and at least one year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Currently registered with the NMC as an RGN or RMN.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience in care or clinical settings.
• Experience administering medications and maintaining accurate records.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate person-centred care.
• Monitor residents’ health and wellbeing and respond to changes.
• Safely administer and manage medication per NMC guidelines.
• Lead, support, and motivate care teams during shifts.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
• Promote safeguarding, dignity, and high-quality care standards.
• Support and develop colleagues through supervision and training.
