Company Description

We are looking for a dedicated Weekend Relief Mobile Security Officer to join our team, located in Bristol. This is a dynamic role where you will be responsible for site patrols, lock and unlock duties, and rapid alarm response, ensuring the safety and security of our clients.

Position: Relief Mobile Security Officer

Pay: £12.60 p/h

Hours: Guaranteed 36 hours per week

Shift Patterns: Days, Nights and Weekends

Transport: A valid driving licence with 1+ year driving experience is required

Requirements: Valid SIA licence and First Aid certificate

Job Description

• Conduct regular mobile patrols across multiple sites to monitor security and identify potential issues.
• Manage and safeguard site keys responsibly.
• Perform lock and unlock duties at the beginning and end of shifts, securing premises to minimise risks of unauthorised entry.
• Respond promptly to alarm activations, assess situations quickly, and take appropriate action, including contacting emergency services if necessary.
• Escort staff or visitors safely to and from various locations as needed.
• Provide backup support including patrols, alarm response, escort duties, and other tasks throughout the shift.
• Ensure the security and proper maintenance of any company vehicle used.
• Maintain a professional company image at all times.

Qualifications

• SIA Licence
• At least 1 year security experience, preferably as a Mobile Security Officer
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Availability to cover holidays and overtime
• Willingness to learn, punctuality, and excellent timekeeping
