Job summary

FirstPort Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking an attentive Housekeeper to cover annual leave and sickness. You will clean and service communal areas and apartments, ensuring high cleanliness standards and a welcoming environment for residents.

Main Responsibilities

• Vacuum, dust and spot clean all common areas, hallways and patios, paying special attention to the main entry area. Specific items to check are carpets, plants, pictures, railings, windows and light fixtures.
• Servicing of customers’ apartments, which includes, general household cleaning duties, the changing of bed and bath linens and the removal of sealed rubbish bags if requested.
• Deep clean communal areas and apartments as needed.
• Follow sanitation and safety procedures.
• Complete any other tasks as required by our customers following appropriate training guidelines.

About you

• Customer service - a passion for providing an exceptional level of customer service at all times, ideally in a face to face environment.
• Communication - a natural communicator, with the ability to resolve issues and complaints effectively
• Health & Safety - an understanding of the importance of health & safety, experience of dealing with challenging or emergency situations
• IT - able to operate Microsoft Office applications, and confident in learning new systems
• Administration - organised, methodical and experience of keeping accurate records
• Personal - an outgoing personality, with the ability to build professional relationships with colleagues and customers, self-motivated, pro-active, team oriented, and innovative.
