Job summary

FirstPort in Tonbridge, Kent, is seeking a Housekeeper & Server (26697) to maintain and clean shared spaces, ensure a welcoming environment for residents, and support daily operations.

This part-time role runs 18 hours per week (Mon, Wed, Fri, 9:30am–2:30pm). You will provide friendly customer service, follow health and safety procedures, and help with routine administrative tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, dust and spot clean all common areas, paying attention to entry area and fixtures.
• Deep clean communal areas and apartments as needed.
• Follow sanitation and safety procedures.
• Complete other tasks as required by customers following training guidelines.

Job Role: Housekeeper & Server (26697)

Location: Tonbridge, Kent

Salary: £11,934.00 per annum, plus benefits

Hours: Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9.30am-2.30pm(18 hours per week)

Main Responsibilities

• Vacuum, dust and spot clean all common areas, hallways and patios, paying special attention to the main entry area. Specific items to check are carpets, plants, pictures, railings, windows and light fixtures.
• Deep clean communal areas and apartments as needed.
• Follow sanitation and safety procedures.
• Complete any other tasks as required by our customers following appropriate training guidelines.

About you

• Customer service - a passion for providing an exceptional level of customer service at all times, ideally in a face to face environment.
• Communication - a natural communicator, with the ability to resolve issues and complaints effectively
• Health & Safety - an understanding of the importance of health & safety, experience of dealing with challenging or emergency situations
• IT - able to operate Microsoft Office applications, and confident in learning new systems
• Administration - organised, methodical and experience of keeping accurate records
• Personal - an outgoing personality, with the ability to build professional relationships with colleagues and customers, self-motivated, pro-active, team oriented, and innovative.
