Job summary

CrossReach Trading Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Handyperson on a relief basis to keep our premises safe, well-maintained and fully operational. Reporting to the Unit Manager, you will support staff, visitors, and service contractors while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

The role requires practical, proactive problem-solving with the ability to work independently. Training will be provided, and you will contribute to a welcoming environment across our housing and care

Qualifications

• Basic maintenance, DIY or repair skills.
• Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
• Basic computer skills for mandatory e-learning and records.
• Understanding of health and safety in the workplace.
• Previous maintenance or facilities experience is advantageous and training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Carry out minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Assist with moving furniture and equipment following safety guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records relating to property maintenance and repairs.
• Escort and support contractors and tradespeople on-site.
• Identify and report maintenance issues and suggest needed work.
• Participate in health and safety training and follow policies.
