Job summary

Ritz Recruitment in Cardiff is seeking a proactive multi-skilled Maintenance Operative to support a busy student accommodation. You will handle maintenance and repair requests to keep estates safe, compliant, and well-presented.

You will perform planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance; inspect rooms and communal areas; address health and safety risks; and maintain logs while delivering a professional service to residents. On-site role with tools provided and holiday pay.

Qualifications

• Proven Maintenance/Handyman/Trade experience.
• Strong practical skills across general maintenance disciplines.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Reliable, self-motivated, ownership of work.

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests via internal systems.

We are looking for a proactive multi skilled Maintenance Operative to assist the team of a busy student accommodation. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering an outstanding living experience by ensuring all maintenance and repair requests within the accommodation are handled efficiently and effectively.

You'll be responsible for carrying out planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance, ensuring the estate remains safe, compliant, and well-presented at all times.
