Job summary

Welsh language Skills need to be learnt when appointed to the post.

The post holder will provide comprehensive administrative support for both hospital and community services. There will need to be a high degree of flexibility as this role will provide cover for various administrative roles within the service across multiple sites.

By the nature of the duties, the post holder will be required to maintain strict confidentiality and will be expected to deal with patients, relatives, visitors, and health professionals with courtesy, sensitivity, and discretion.

Main duties of the job
  • Provide administrative cover for a variety of clerical roles as directed by the Administrative Team Leader.
  • The post holder will be expected to cover other sites and departments as part of their role.

Qualifications
  • Essential: GCSE English and Maths Grade C or above, or equivalent
  • Desirable: NVQ2 Admin / Customer Care
Experience
  • Essential: Previous clerical/computer experience
  • Desirable: Experience in NHS office procedures
Aptitude and Abilities
  • Essential: Proficiency in Word and Email, effective communication, understanding of confidentiality, good written and spoken English, flexible working approach
  • Desirable: Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel), knowledge of databases like WPAS/PIMS/Myrddin, experience with high confidentiality areas
