Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust (NCA) is seeking a motivated individual to join the Catering Department at Rochdale Infirmary. The role involves preparing patient meals, assisting with retail and patient catering, and ensuring meals meet nutritional needs in a hygienic environment.
You will work across sites as required, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, with a focus on safe food handling, HACCP compliance, and teamwork to deliver high-quality food services to patients
We are looking for enthusiastic motivated individual to work in our busy Catering Department at Rochdale Infirmary and associated sites who will be primarily working between retail and patient catering regeneration of frozen meals and preparation of simple foods such as breakfast items, sandwiches and salads. This involves working directly with patients some of whom are compromised, on a one-to-one basis and being fully conversant with the nutritional state of all patients. You will advise patients on the various nutritional/dietary options available dependent upon the patient's needs. You will ensure that patients receive their food/drinks in an environment that has been adequately prepared for mealtimes. Please note that this role will include working on Bank Holidays, evenings or weekends.,
