NTW Solutions Limited is recruiting a Catering Assistant to join the team at St Nicholas Hospital. The role involves basic food preparation, packing and cleaning in a chilled environment, supporting patient meals and ward service.

The post is full-time at 37.5 hours per week, with a 10:00 to 18:00 shift pattern on a 2-week rota; Saturday and Sunday off in week 1, and Thursdays and Fridays off in week 2.

We are recruiting to the Team at St Nicholas Hospital to work within our friendly Catering Department.

This post is offered at - 37.50 hours per week

Shift pattern between 10am to 6pm on a 2 week rota week 1 Saturday and Sunday days off. Week 2 Thursday and Friday day off

Main duties of the job

• Basic food preparation/ packing and cleaning duties within a chilled environment.


• Manual handling duties to include excepting and putting deliveries away, collecting items to prep & pack within a walk in freezer, chilled environment


• Candidate will be expected to work within a chilled and freezer environment


• Regeneration of patients food in a ward environment
