Job summary

Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a proactive team member to join the Catering Department at Fairfield General Hospital, Bury. The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with a rota including bank holidays and enhanced pay.

Flexibility to service needs and prior large-scale catering experience are advantageous. The successful candidate will join a team producing nutritious meals for staff, visitors and patients, while adhering to food hygiene standards and HACCP monitoring.

Qualifications

• Experience of large scale catering is advantageous.
• Willingness to work 37.5 hours per week including weekends and bank holidays on a rota.

Job description

A great opportunity for an enthusiastic forward thinking Team member to join the Catering Department at Fairfield General Hospital, Bury. This post is full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Sunday and will include Bank holiday working on a rota basis which attract additional enhanced pay. Being flexible to the needs of the service and previous experience of large scale catering would be an advantage.

• The successful candidate will work as part of a team producing high quality nutritious meals for staff, visitors and patients.
• Compliance with food hygiene standards and regulations including HACCP monitoring system will form a large part of this role.
