Qualifications

• Experience in caretaking, school premises management or facilities support.
• Ability to perform general repairs and routine maintenance.
• Good understanding of site security and safe working practices.
• Basic health and safety knowledge.
• Willingness to complete safeguarding/background checks.

Responsibilities

• Open and secure the school premises at designated times.
• Carry out routine inspections of buildings, grounds and external areas.
• Complete general maintenance and minor repairs (basic plumbing, carpentry, decorating).
• Identify maintenance issues and report larger repairs to contractors.
• Ensure classrooms and communal areas remain safe and accessible.
• Maintain outdoor spaces, pathways and playgrounds.
