Cabot Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead site maintenance, ensure safety and reliability of plant equipment, and manage a team of technicians across mechanical, electrical and instrumentation disciplines. You will collaborate with Operations, Engineering, SHE and Purchasing to optimise maintenance delivery and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• HNC or above in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
• Significant experience in a maintenance and reliability role within a large process industry or manufacturing environment; chemical manufacturing experience preferred.
• Well-practiced in people leadership within a manufacturing, maintenance or related engineering environment.
• Detailed practical knowledge of safe work permit systems, including electrical, working at height, hot work, line break, crane permits, excavation permits and roof permits.
• IT literate with experience using ERP, CMMS and Microsoft systems.

Responsabilités

• Support and promote the highest standards of Safety, Health and Environmental performance across all maintenance and construction activities on site.
• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing team of Mechanical and Instrument/Electrical Technicians, ensuring capability to support reliability and safe work execution.
• Manage maintenance resources to support operational requirements, routine maintenance, unplanned breakdown recovery and major shutdowns.
• Plan, prioritise, execute and close out maintenance activity with Maintenance Planner, Operations and Engineering teams.
• Lead maintenance response during unplanned stoppages, including information gathering and problem solving.
• Drive improvements in Reliability and Overall Equipment Effectiveness through RCA, FMEA, RCM and preventive/predictive maintenance.
