Job summary

Bekaert is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our Bradford site to lead maintenance activities, coordinate technicians and drive improvements in equipment reliability. You will plan preventive maintenance, respond to breakdowns and work with production to maximise uptime.

The role requires a proven track record in maintenance leadership, strong mechanical/electrical knowledge, and experience with CMMS and safety regulation compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in a maintenance supervisory or senior engineering role within a manufacturing, industrial, FMCG, logistics, or processing environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Proven experience leading and managing maintenance teams.
• Experience with preventative and reactive maintenance programmes.
• Understanding of health and safety legislation and safe systems of work.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate day-to-day maintenance activities across the site.
• Ensure planned preventive maintenance schedules are completed on time.
• Coordinate reactive maintenance and breakdown repairs to minimise downtime.
• Prioritise maintenance activities based on operational requirements and business needs.
• Monitor equipment performance and implement improvement actions to increase reliability.
