Job summary
Omega Resource Group is seeking an Engineering Reliability & Maintenance Leader in Nottingham to drive a proactive, data‑led maintenance culture. You will lead a site-wide reliability strategy, prioritising planned and predictive maintenance to minimise downtime and extend asset life.
The role reports to the Site Head of Engineering and operates within the Engineering Maintenance, Planning & Reliability function, collaborating with Operations, Engineering, and CI teams to deliver
Qualifications
- Degree or NVQ level 3 in Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in maintenance reliability, maintenance improvement, or asset care within FMCG or high-volume process manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of RCM, RCA, and lean maintenance methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of reliability-centred maintenance (RCM).
- Oversee a large site’s asset maintenance management strategy with focus on proactive, preventative and predictive maintenance.
- Improve equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime across the site.
- Drive maintenance improvement initiatives focused on reducing unplanned downtime and improving OEE.
- Analyse equipment performance data to identify repeat failures, losses, and reliability risks.
- Facilitate root cause analysis (RCA) and ensure sustainable corrective actions are implemented.
- Embed autonomous maintenance routines and develop CMMS effectiveness across the site.
